Words to Rest In

Illustrated affirmations for quiet moments of reflection

Dand-lettered affirmation, designed to meet you where you are and anchor your belief.

You don’t have to force belief —
you can borrow it.

Affirmations can feel awkward.
Sometimes you say the words…
but they don’t quite land.
This isn’t about repeating
something louder.
It’s about letting truth arrive slowly.

  • You don’t need to finish the page.

  • You don’t need to feel calm right away.

  • You don’t need to be “good at art.”

  • Just show up as you are.

This is a hand-lettered affirmation created to beread 𖡼 revisited 𖡼 held.not rushed through

Some lines may speak to you at once.
Others may take time to settle.
Sometimes the soil of our heart is in different stages. And it can take longer for some soil to drink in water. Our hearts can be like that with beliefs. You don’t have to force meaning. You can simply let it sit with you.

You don’t have to force meaning. You can simply let it sit with you.

You Can:
✨ • Read it once and pause •
✨ • Keep it nearby during your day •
✨ • Return to it when you need something steady •
✨ • Let the artwork hold the words when you can’t •

Even a moment spent with this piece can help you pause and ground yourself. In your first email, I’ll share a few suggestions for ways ground and help anchor yourself in this truth — small 30 second practices you can try right away. Because who really wants to wait if you don't have to 🌿

There’s no right way to receive it.
It’s here to support you —
not demand agreement.

As you spend time with it, you may experience:

  • Less resistance to the words

  • A softening instead of striving

  • Recognition instead of effort

  • A sense of being met where you are

Truth doesn’t always need repetition.
Sometimes it just needs space.

This piece was created during a season when I needed to ground myself to the truth that I couldn't see right in front of me. To faith in what was possible... And to Hope that it wouldn't always be this way.

I wanted to begin by giving you one truth to sit with. I’ve learned that belief doesn’t always come first. Sometimes we need to borrow truth until we’re ready to hold it ourselves. So I let the words rest on the page first.
